Regional Impact: 

Southeastern Church of Christ (SECC) meets at 6500 Southeastern Avenue in Indianapolis.  SECC is a regional church, drawing attendees from over a 20-mile radius.  Members come from all over the area--from Fishers to Franklin, to Mooresville, to Greenfield and everywhere in between.

Philosophy:  

Southeastern Church has had a passionate heart for mission and outreach since it's early days.  Because Christians are called to speak to a changing culture, SECC is committed to creative new means to connect more people to Jesus.  In our gatherings, we strive to be faithful to God, and the Bible as his inerrant word, while providing ways for believers and non-believers to encounter God. Likewise, church members and guests are challenged to live into the gospel in vibrant and different ways according to their gifting and passions. We pursue various outreach opportunities in our region including our own Food Pantry that provides food and clothing to families as well as introduction to Jesus through prayer. Our Baby Diaper Depot, reaches a diverse group of young families, providing not only diapers but also clothing and hygiene products. One of our primary ministry expressions is our preschool that has a long history  

of providing a safe, Christ-centered, academic environment to the families of our community.

SECC is a diverse congregation with a warm, welcoming environment offering a place to heal and grow emotionally and spiritually, as well as a place to connect with God's call on your life and with other believers.  While there are plenty of opportunities for you to serve and witness in a variety of settings, our desire is to equip and challenge you to engage the community around you in various ways out of our commitment to Jesus being Lord of your life. 

We take seriously the call that God loves the whole world, not just the church.  SECC, as part of God's Kingdom, is called to sacrifice to reach the lost.  As Ephesians 3:10 reminds us, the church is God's "Plan A" for making his will and purposes known to the world.  Every member at Southeastern Church is expected to be involved in both service work to bless people inside SECC family and witness, work to bless others in our community.

"Christianity " and "church" are not about me or us; according to Jesus they are about our being salt, light and leaven for the sake of people who do not know him yet.
