  • john wright

John W. Wright and Carla Wright married 37 years . He began coming to Southeastern as an infant being carried in his mothers arms. He has been very fortunate to work at Interstate Battery for nearly 19 years. The Interstate franchise in Indianapolis is owned by Dennis and Vicki Mcdaniel. His dream for this church is that we will be a Jesus church. He hopes that our love for God and our neighbors will be evident to the world in the way we imitate the life of Jesus. May the love of Christ attract to our fellowship honest seekers and they will ask how can I have what these Christ followers have?

  • rick hastings

Rick and his wife Merry have been married for 43 years. They have been in Indianapolis and have attended Southeastern Church since 2016. They have one daughter Melody, son-in-law Tim and granddaughter Penny who followed them to Indianapolis from Michigan in 2021.  Before coming to Southeastern, Rick and Merry worshiped with the Rochester Church of Christ, Rochester Hills Michigan. While there, Rick served as a Deacon for 13 years, then as an Elder for eight years. Rick's prayer for the Church is that every member would engage in the Word of God and listen to the Holy Spirit.  Listening to the Spirit will direct our ways toward living as Jesus did, showing compassion and love to those we have contact with. Loving others is how we will be able to make a difference in the world.

  • Steve Faidley

Steve and Melanie Faidley have been married since 1985. They have four children and one grandson. Steve has been attending Southeastern since 1981, and he was baptized here in 1982. Steve spent more of his career in property and casualty claims, but has been the Benefits Administration manager for Ascension Health since 2015. Steve's dream for Southeastern is for us to be more and more of a community church and less of a commuter church, engaging in the needs of our neighbors and equipping all to share the good news and be part of the Great Commission.
