 Who Are We?
The Southeastern Church strives to be defined by seven core values. We believe these values reflect the heart of God and His purpose for His church.
The Cross Is Foundational The death and resurrection of Jesus shapes our message and our mission. We teach baptism as a work of God, forgiving penitent sinners who respond in faith, uniting them with the death of Christ, and empowering them through His Spirit to live a new life.
Relationships Are Central We believe that because of Jesus, people can connect across racial, educational, cultural, generational lines to experience genuine community and to experience significant life change. More>
Truth Is Proclaimed God is truth and has revealed Himself in Jesus and through the living, active word of God, the Bible, which the Holy Spirit uses to transform lives.
Needs are Met We are people in whom Jesus lives. As His feet, hands, and feet, our business it to do whatever Jesus would do. We desire to be a church that equips every member for meaningful ministry: to love and serve people in ways that reflect Jesus living in us. More>
Good News Is Shared We are a community of ordinary people who have been changed from the inside out, and that compels us to speak about Jesus so that others can know Him as well.
Lives Are Transformed As God's people, we strive to grow into the likeness of Christ, and as a church we strive to provide a climate conducive to spiritual growth--leading people toward maturity in Jesus.
Intimacy With God Is Pursued Worship can take many forms and expressions as it is primarily an attitude of reverence and love. Our worship is not just demonstrated in public, but also in private as we seek to surrender all that we are to God by following His direction. More>
